How many of these cancer-causing habits do you have?

Smoking

Smokers have a 7 to 11 times higher risk of cancer than non-smokers. More than 30% of cancers, including lung cancer, laryngeal cancer, and esophageal cancer, are closely related to smoking.

Experts believe that exercising less than 30 minutes a day and a sedentary lifestyle can increase the risk of certain cancers. Studies have shown that regular, sustained physical activity can prevent certain parts of the body from developing cancer, such as colon cancer.

Drinking

Whether it is alcoholic beverages, such as beer, wine and spirits, the risk of oral cancer, pharyngeal cancer and laryngeal cancer increases significantly with increasing intake. If you must drink, men should not exceed 2 servings a day (1 serving contains 10 to 15 grams of alcohol), and women should not exceed 1 serving.

Regular consumption of sugary drinks

Sugary drinks provide energy, which makes it easy for people to drink too much without realizing it, leading to obesity.

Insufficient intake of fruits and vegetables

Fruits and vegetables may reduce the risk of various cancers, including pharyngeal cancer, laryngeal cancer, and esophageal cancer. You should eat at least 5 servings (at least 400 grams) of different kinds of vegetables and fruits every day.

Excessive intake of red meat

A diet high in red meat may lead to the development of pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, etc. Weekly intake should be less than 500 grams, and processed meat products should be eaten as little as possible.

Excessive salt intake

Salt and salted foods will increase the incidence of gastric cancer. Total daily salt intake should be less than 6 grams.
