Contraceptive pills can effectively prevent endometrial cancer

Research shows that birth control pills can effectively prevent endometrial cancer. They can also significantly reduce the incidence of endometrial cancer. This is because the occurrence of endometrial cancer requires a long-term estrogen environment, and progesterone can promote the shedding of the endometrium and resist this side effect of estrogen. This reduction effect exists during the period of taking birth control pills, and its effect will continue for a while after stopping the pills, which has the effect of preventing endometrial cancer.

Even if menopausal women need to take estrogen to relieve menopausal symptoms, they must not take estrogen all the time. They must take progesterone in combination. Progesterone plays a role in protecting the endometrium and reducing the incidence of endometrial cancer.

Chinese women are more taboo about birth control pills, always thinking that they are hormones and have side effects. The number of "abortions" in China is much higher than that in foreign countries, which is much more harmful to women's health than the side effects of birth control pills. More importantly, today's birth control pills mainly contain estrogen and progesterone, which are two hormones that women must have throughout their lives. Some people have poor ovarian function and cannot produce estrogen and progesterone, so their development stagnates at the level of a young girl and they cannot show their feminine charm. Therefore, although oral contraceptives are artificially synthesized, their effects are the same as those of hormones in the body, and their mechanism is very safe.

After a woman becomes pregnant, estrogen and progesterone continue to exist, which serves as a "reminder" to the brain. The brain tells the ovaries: "Now you are pregnant," and orders the ovaries to rest so that the pregnancy can continue. Contraceptive pills simulate the state of pregnancy and maintain estrogen and progesterone in the body at a certain level. Therefore, after taking contraceptive pills, the ovaries begin to rest.

If the ovaries do not rest, they will produce eggs every month, and there will be a rupture after ovulation every month, which needs to be repaired. If something harmful is encountered during the repair process, it will be easy to develop a tumor. After taking birth control pills, the ovaries rest and the chance of malignant transformation is reduced. Therefore, birth control pills can prevent the occurrence of ovarian cancer.
