What causes pretibial skin cancer

What causes pretibial skin cancer

Pretibial skin cancer is a type of skin cancer that occurs on the lower leg. It may be related to some skin ulcers that do not heal repeatedly, long-term canceration, or some external environmental stimulation. For example, ultraviolet rays or other radiation, etc. The onset of skin cancer is also the result of a combination of external environmental stimulation and individual differences, genetics and repeated non-healing of such injuries. Pretibial skin cancer may be skin squamous cell carcinoma, skin basal cell carcinoma, and malignant melanoma, all of which are possible. Determining the nature of skin cancer depends on postoperative pathology.

Early Skin Cancer Symptoms

Generally speaking, the early symptoms of skin cancer may not be very typical. The most common skin cancers are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma of the skin, and malignant melanoma. Basal cell carcinoma, in the early stage, is mainly manifested as depressed ulcerative lesions, such as craters, and then repeated ulcers that do not heal will form this type of basal cell carcinoma. It can be removed surgically. Squamous cell carcinoma of the skin may manifest as ulcers or raised lesions. Surface ulcers repeatedly do not heal, and may be accompanied by swollen lymph nodes around them, requiring surgical removal and lymph node cleaning. Malignant melanoma of the skin manifests as local black tumors that may have ulcers and bleeding, and can be diagnosed pathologically through surgical biopsy.

What should I do if skin cancer bleeds?

Skin cancer is a common malignant tumor in clinical practice, with a high incidence rate, especially in the elderly. The disease progresses relatively slowly, and most skin cancers do not cause life-threatening conditions. The clinical manifestation is mainly a local mass. When the mass becomes larger, necrosis and bleeding will occur in the central part. When this happens, relevant imaging examinations should be performed to evaluate the condition of the tumor and the general condition of the body, and to clarify the choice of treatment options. Most skin cancers should be removed surgically, and some can be treated with radiotherapy to achieve better results.
