What are the symptoms of benign lymphoma? What are the treatments?

1. Swollen lymph nodes in the neck: About 60% of lymphomas are first discovered in the form of swollen lymph nodes in the neck. In the early stages, they are neither painful nor itchy, so they are often ignored. Gradually, the number increases and they become larger.

2. Digestive system symptoms: manifested as loss of appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc. Some patients may also experience intestinal obstruction and bleeding.

3. The symptoms of early lymphoma are relatively hidden and difficult to detect. Only a few patients will experience "minor ailments" similar to the cold, including weight loss, loss of appetite, lack of strength, cough, difficulty breathing, swollen tonsils, headache, etc.

What are the treatments?

1. Radiotherapy:

1HD IA and IA can be treated with subtotal lymph field irradiation alone.

2 For low-grade IA and IA NHL, chemotherapy should be added one month after radiotherapy.

2. Chemotherapy:

1. For HD stage IIIB~V cases, chemotherapy combined with MOPP is recommended. The complete remission rate can reach 60~80% after 6 courses of treatment. One-half~one-third of the cases maintain long-term remission, some for up to 15 years.

2NHL cases of low-to-moderate stage III-VI and highly malignant stage I-IV are suitable for chemotherapy and then regional radiotherapy as appropriate after the tumor is relieved.

3. Surgical treatment: Patients with the following conditions can undergo radical surgery followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy: ① localized extranodal lesions on the body surface; ② gastrointestinal lymphoma; ③ genitourinary lymphoma; ④ lymphoma originating in the spleen.

4. Bone marrow transplantation: The efficacy of bone marrow transplantation for lymphoma remains to be evaluated.
