What is Femoral Cancer?

First point:

The incidence of bone cancer does not happen overnight, but is caused by the long-term combined effects of internal and external factors. Patients with a family history of genetic disease have a higher incidence rate than ordinary patients, and endocrine disorders induce bone cancer. External causes: Due to the low resistance of the patient's body, it will cause the invasion of viruses and bacteria, but it will induce bone cancer; chemical causes, due to long-term direct exposure to X-rays, is also one of the diseases.

Second point:

Bone cancer is a very difficult disease to treat, with complex symptoms and many treatment methods. However, bone cancer patients should adopt different treatment methods according to their own conditions:

1. Surgical resection: It is suitable for patients with advanced and serious conditions. The limb can be removed and replaced with an artificial prosthesis.

2. Chemotherapy: Chemical drugs can be used for treatment, play an auxiliary role and alleviate the condition.

3. Immunotherapy: Due to the limited source of interferon, it cannot be widely used.

4. Radiotherapy: performed before and after surgery to improve the success rate of surgery.

Third point:

Pain is the main symptom of bone tumors in the early stage. The condition is mild and intermittent. As the disease progresses, the pain may gradually worsen and develop into persistent pain. Most patients experience worsening pain at night, affecting their sleep. The pain can radiate to distant places. Swelling or lumps in tumors located under the periosteum or superficially appear earlier, and bone swelling and deformation can be felt. If the tumor penetrates the outside of the bone, a fixed soft tissue mass may be produced with a smooth or uneven surface. In the later stages of bone tumors, the function of the affected part will be hindered due to pain and swelling, and it may be accompanied by muscle atrophy in the corresponding part.
