What causes ovarian cancer?

3. Chronic gynecological inflammation: Some women suffer from chronic gynecological inflammation, which repeatedly stimulates the ovaries, which may increase the incidence of ovarian cancer.

Treatment of ovarian cancer:

1. Surgical treatment: If it is very early stage ovarian cancer, there may be no metastasis. This type of ovarian cancer is mainly treated with surgery. After the operation, the doctor will decide whether adjuvant treatment such as chemotherapy is needed based on the results of the pathological examination, whether there are high-risk factors, and whether there is metastasis.

2. Surgical treatment and adjuvant therapy: If it is advanced ovarian cancer, implantation metastasis or distant metastasis may occur. This type of ovarian cancer is usually removed by tumor cell reduction surgery. Adjuvant therapy such as chemotherapy is performed after surgery.
