Is bladder cancer hereditary?

Is bladder cancer hereditary?

Bladder cancer is generally not hereditary and may be affected by external factors. Although bladder cancer is not hereditary, due to certain susceptibility molecules in the body, it is more likely to cause a higher probability of bladder cancer in offspring, so more attention should be paid to the health of the bladder position.

Early cure rate of bladder cancer

1. If painless hematuria occurs, a cystoscopy should be performed as soon as possible, and minimally invasive surgery should be performed as soon as possible after bladder cancer is confirmed. Electrourethral resection of bladder tumors is the most effective treatment for early bladder cancer.

After surgery, chemotherapy drugs should be regularly instilled into the bladder to effectively prevent recurrence and improve the cure rate. Generally speaking, bladder instillation chemotherapy takes two years, and cystoscopy should be performed every six months after surgery to avoid recurrence. The cure rate of early bladder cancer is still relatively high.

The bladder has been removed for bladder cancer. Is medication needed in the later stages?

Bladder cancer patients are treated by cystectomy. If the tumor cells are removed, this is an early stage without spread and metastasis, and no treatment is required after surgery. If there is lymph node metastasis, chemotherapy and radiotherapy are required after surgery. After a period of time, the patient will naturally excrete urine, and regular bladder instillation chemotherapy can effectively prevent bladder cancer recurrence and inhibit tumor progression.
