First, what's the matter with the black particles in the tap water? If the water pipe is an iron pipe, it may be that the inside of the pipe is rusted and the rust and iron residues washed down by the water flow. It may also be that the water source is polluted. However, it is generally not recommended to install a simple faucet filter head. If a filter head has been installed and it seems to be activated carbon, then check whether the rubber pad of the filter head is leaking.

Second, many people now install water purifiers directly on tap water. If black particulate matter appears in the water purifier, it may be because the technology of the water purifier you bought is immature, resulting in quality problems with the filter element. The pore size of the filter element is between 10 microns and 1 micron, and 1 micron material is difficult to distinguish with the naked eye. Therefore, whether the quality of the filter element and the decontamination pore size indicators meet the standards remains to be verified. At the same time, the activated carbon filter element itself is made of a combination of activated carbon particles, and the activated carbon material itself is black particles. It is also possible that residual substances may remain during the process of loading the activated carbon into the filter shell.

What's the matter with black particles in tap water? If necessary, you can choose to install a water purifier. As the saying goes, 30% product and 70% installation. If the water purifier is not installed properly, the chance of failure is very high. For example, the arrangement order of the first three layers of filters should be coarse filter PP cotton filter, activated carbon filter and fine activated carbon filter. If they are installed incorrectly, there is a high probability of impurities appearing during the water purification process.
