How to self-check for ovarian cancer

How to self-check for ovarian cancer?

Women should check themselves for ovarian cancer and pay attention to the early symptoms of ovarian cancer, abdominal distension, feeling of fullness, flatulence, frequent urination, urgency; nausea, indigestion, constipation, diarrhea, menstrual disorders, sexual pain, fatigue, back pain, etc.

If a woman has any of the above symptoms for more than two weeks, she should go to the hospital for screening immediately. If no gastrointestinal disease is found after the gastroenterology examination, she needs to go to the gynecology department to rule out the possibility of ovarian cancer. Because ovarian tumors will compress and pull the surrounding ligaments, coupled with ascites stimulation, gastrointestinal symptoms often occur.

Female friends, young women and girls may have ovarian cancer. The ovaries of young girls are not yet mature, and anal examination often cannot touch the ovaries. If enlarged ovaries can be touched or adnexal masses are found by B-ultrasound, ovarian cancer should also be suspected. Women around 50 years old should pay more attention to their bodies. The ovaries of older women are shrinking. If ovaries or masses can still be touched during gynecological examination, ovarian cancer is highly suspected.
