What are the symptoms of bladder cancer

Bladder cancer is a malignant tumor disease, and its incidence rate is only lower than that of prostate cancer. Hematuria is a typical symptom of bladder cancer. In some cases, blood can be found in the urine with the naked eye, while in others, it can only be found under a microscope. Some patients only have hematuria once, while others last for 1 day or even several days, and then disappear, which is easy to be ignored. Here I will tell you about the symptoms of bladder cancer, hoping to attract your attention.

Bladder Cancer Symptoms

1. Frequent urination, urgency and pain. One out of 10 patients will experience this, especially when the lesion is in the bladder triangle. Therefore, if you find that your cystitis recurs and cannot be cured, you should be alert to whether you have bladder cancer, especially carcinoma in situ.

2. If the tumor is too large, or if there is a tumor or blood clot in the bladder, it will cause urination obstruction, and even worse, it will cause urine retention. If the tumor touches the ureteral opening, it will also cause urinary tract obstruction, and the patient will also experience back pain, hydronephrosis, and impaired renal function.

3. Painless hematuria that can be seen with the naked eye is one of the typical symptoms of bladder cancer, and more than half of the patients will experience this. Among them, a small number of patients have very serious hematuria, and a small number of patients can only find hematuria under a microscope. Hematuria usually occurs intermittently, sometimes in the early stages of the disease, and sometimes in the late stages of the disease. Some patients will also discharge blood or slough. The duration of hematuria is related to the severity of the disease, but it is not proportional. Carcinoma in situ usually presents with microscopic hematuria, and the hematuria of bladder cancer is not very significant.

Experts remind: Bladder cancer is a type of cancer. If the condition is serious, it will threaten the patient's life. Therefore, once you notice symptoms similar to bladder cancer, you should get checked and diagnosed as soon as possible. The earlier bladder cancer is treated, the greater the hope of cure and the less pain the patient will suffer.
