Anti-inflammatory drugs cannot be used for thyroid cancer

Anti-inflammatory drugs generally refer to antibiotics. It is incorrect to say that thyroid cancer patients cannot use antibiotics. If treatment is needed, they can use medications under the guidance of a doctor, including cephalosporins, penicillins, macrolides, quinolones, etc.

1. Cephalosporins: Common cephalosporin drugs include cefuroxime capsules, cefuroxime axetil tablets, cefixime capsules, etc. They are mainly used for diseases caused by sensitive bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, digestive tract infections, etc. If thyroid cancer patients have the above bacterial infections, they can use cephalosporins for treatment under the guidance of doctors;

2. Penicillins: such as penicillin V potassium tablets, amoxicillin capsules, etc., which are mainly used for infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, digestive tract infections, etc., and can also treat Helicobacter pylori infections;

3. Macrolides: Macrolides include roxithromycin capsules, azithromycin dispersible tablets, clarithromycin dispersible tablets, etc. They can be used to treat diseases caused by Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, and chlamydia, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, and urethritis. If thyroid cancer patients are infected with the above bacteria, they can also use macrolides for treatment under the guidance of doctors;

4. Quinolones: Quinolones include levofloxacin hydrochloride tablets and moxifloxacin hydrochloride tablets, which are mainly used for infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria, such as respiratory tract infections, gastrointestinal infections, and typhoid fever. If thyroid cancer patients have the above-mentioned bacterial infections, they can also use quinolones for treatment according to the doctor's advice.

Patients can also use iodine-131 for radiotherapy under the guidance of a doctor, or undergo surgical resection. During the use of the drug, you should pay attention to rest more, maintain a light diet, eat more protein-rich foods and fresh fruits and vegetables, which is conducive to disease recovery.
