An ultrasound-guided freezing probe is inserted into the prostate, and then high-pressure argon gas is injected to cool the treatment area in a short time, so that the surrounding tissue will be frozen. After about 5 to 15 minutes, high-pressure helium gas is injected to slowly raise the tissue temperature. Repeated treatments can kill cancer cells. However, after treatment, there may be more obvious side effects and complications.
