How to maintain the prostate? Two kinds of food can save the fragile prostate

Prostate cancer is a common malignant tumor of the male reproductive system. As my country enters an aging society, it is expected that in 10 years, it may become the number one tumor "killer" that endangers men's health!

People know that eating habits are closely related to diseases. According to a recent study published in American Epidemiology, drinking green tea regularly can reduce the risk of prostate cancer in men. So, what other beneficial foods should people add to their daily table to save the "fragile" prostate health?

1. Beans

Health impact: Surveys show that men who often eat soy products have a lower risk of prostate cancer than men who do not often eat soy products. After being digested and absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract, soy products will produce a phytoestrogen mixture called "equol", which can effectively inhibit the androgen dihydrotestosterone and protect the prostate.

Serving suggestion: Drinking it in soup often works better.

Fresh bean sprout juice: Take 500 grams of fresh mung bean sprouts, wash them, squeeze them with clean gauze to extract the juice, add appropriate amount of sugar, and drink it instead of tea. Chinese medicine believes that this method has the effect of clearing heat and guiding redness.

Mung bean and psyllium soup: Take 60g of mung beans and 30g of psyllium seeds, and wrap the psyllium seeds with gauze. Wash the mung beans, put them in a pot, add water and boil. Then, cook over low heat until the beans are rotten, remove the psyllium seeds, and drink. This method can also clear away heat and promote diuresis.

Friendly reminder: Foods such as soybeans, soy beans, and peanuts all contain "phytoestrogens" that are beneficial to prostate health.

2. Onion

Health impact: Onions contain a compound called "quercetin", which is one of the most effective natural anti-cancer substances known so far. Experiments have shown that it can prevent mutations in cell biochemical mechanisms. Onions also contain the trace element selenium, which is a strong antioxidant that can help eliminate free radicals in the body and enhance cell metabolism.

Eating suggestions: Traditional Chinese medicine believes that eating too much onion can easily cause fever symptoms. The onion intake should not exceed 50 grams each time. Cut off the roots, peel off the old skin, wash off the mud and sand, and can be eaten raw or cooked.

Friendly reminder: The compound "quercetin" can be found in apples, tea and red wine.
