Why does white spots appear on aloe vera?

I believe everyone is familiar with aloe vera. Aloe vera is planted all over the country and there are many varieties of aloe vera. Women nowadays like aloe vera very much because it has many benefits for the skin. For example, many facial masks contain aloe vera ingredients, and some aloe vera is edible. In addition, people like to plant some aloe vera potted plants at home. In this process, white spots will grow on the surface of the aloe vera. What causes this?

Why does white spots appear on aloe vera?

The aloe vera leaves with white spots are the Chinese Aloe vera variety, which has white spots on them.

1. Fanla is the transliteration of its species name, also known as American aloe. It has a fibrous root system, a short stem, and leaves clustered at the top of the stem. The leaves are arranged in a spiral shape and are thick, plump and juicy. The leaves are 30-70 cm long, 4-15 cm wide, 2-5 cm thick, gradually pointed at the tip and broad at the base; the leaves are pink-green with white spots that gradually disappear as the leaves grow, and small thorn-like teeth grow around the leaves. The flower stem is solitary with two or three branches 60-120 cm high. The racemes are sparse and the flower spots are drooping.

2. It is native to northern Africa and is now cultivated most in America. Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hainan Island also have large-scale commercial cultivation, mainly for extracting aloe vera juice.

1. Aloe vera --- generally known as Aloe barbadensis, which is the transliteration of its species name. It is also known as true aloe. It is the most widely used variety in food, medicine and beauty. It has a short stem and leaves clustered at the top of the stem. The leaves are arranged in a spiral shape, thick and juicy. The leaves are pink-green with white spots, which will gradually disappear as the leaves grow.

2 Chinese Aloe --- is a variant of Aloe vera (just introduced), also known as spotted aloe, the flesh of the leaves is not as thick as Aloe vera, but it has strong adaptability. The leaves of the seedlings are arranged in two rows, and there are white spots on the leaves and back. When the leaves grow up, the white spots do not fade. It has medicinal and cosmetic value, and the young leaves can be eaten directly.

3. Aloe saponaria --- It is named because its leaf juice is as smooth as soapy water. There are many varieties of aloe saponaria, such as broad-leaved aloe saponaria, which is mainly used for ornamental purposes. It has white stripes on its leaves, clear texture, and wide leaves, which have high ornamental value... Aloe saponaria has thin leaves, and its fresh leaf juice has a skin care effect. However, since the sticky leaf juice it contains is far less than that of Aloe vera, it has not yet been cultivated on a large scale for beauty and skin care. It has no stems, and its leaves grow in clusters at the base, arranged in a spiral shape. The leaves are semi-erect or parallel, and can be used for both medicinal and beauty purposes.

4 Pearl Aloe---also known as Silky Aloe, Bearded Aloe, German Pineapple, no above-ground stems, each cluster has more than 50 lanceolate leaves, with long whiskers on the leaf tips and white spots on the leaf surface... It is a small variety, generally less than 10 cm in height, mainly for ornamental purposes. Although the leaves of Pearl Aloe are small, the leaves contain rich polysaccharide adhesive juice, which is an excellent product for natural beauty and skin care.
