What are the early symptoms of liver cancer? Beware of liver cancer if you notice these three symptoms when you wake up

The liver is one of the most important organs for human health and is the main detoxification organ. Although the liver has a strong self-repair ability, usually, if the liver is not good, the symptoms are relatively hidden, so once the disease occurs, it is easy to be ignored. So, how can you understand whether your liver is healthy from the clues in your life?

If you have these symptoms in the morning, it is mostly because of liver problems.

1. There is a foul smell in the mouth when you wake up in the morning

For many people, having bad breath in the morning is a very common thing, and many people don't take it seriously. However, if you have a foul smell in your mouth in the morning, it is mostly related to poor liver function. This is mainly because people with poor liver function usually have impaired liver function, which will cause the urea nitrogen and ammonia content in the blood to gradually increase. After a series of reactions, the odorous gas is expelled from the mouth and nose through breathing, thus manifesting as bad breath.

2. Gum bleeding is easy to occur when washing in the morning

When getting up and washing up every morning, many people will find blood in the white foam when brushing their teeth, and there may be bleeding gums. At this time, don't be careless, easy bleeding gums may be related to poor liver. Many people with poor liver often have bleeding gums or noses during washing, or there are residual blood on the objects after biting hard objects. This is mainly because after the liver is damaged, the ability to produce coagulation factors decreases, resulting in a decrease in the body's coagulation ability, so a small amount of bleeding is prone to occur in areas densely covered with capillaries.

In addition, people with poor liver function have fragile capillaries, which can also lead to bleeding. Therefore, patients with cirrhosis should pay close attention to bleeding in the periodontium and gums.

3. Feeling tired and listless after waking up

Many people have the habit of staying in bed. Some people stay in bed because they are really tired and weak. In fact, this is probably related to poor liver function. Be especially careful when you wake up in the morning and feel tired and weak, as this is one of the most important and earliest manifestations of liver disease. The degree and manifestation of fatigue vary from person to person. Some people are not active and even stay in bed. And despite adequate rest, these people still feel that fatigue cannot be eliminated.

In addition, once symptoms such as liver pain, abdominal distension, abdominal mass, jaundice, ascites, etc. appear, it is usually in the late stage. According to statistics, about 3/4 of liver cancer patients currently receiving treatment are in the late stage, which brings great difficulties to treatment.

Therefore, regular, continuous follow-up examinations and observations should be conducted for patients at high risk of liver cancer, which is an effective way to detect liver cancer in the early stage. Associate Professor Peng Jie, chief physician of the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University, recommends that high-risk groups go to medical institutions for 2-4 examinations each year, depending on the situation. The examinations include blood tests for tumor markers, especially AFp and liver B-ultrasound examinations. CT scans can also be performed when necessary. About 70% of liver cancer patients will have elevated blood AFp in the early stages, and the increase is progressive. B-ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc. can detect liver cancer nodules with a diameter of about 1 cm.
