Generally, the disease originates from the larger bronchi of the body. Central lung cancer can also be divided into small round cells, large cells and oat cells according to the morphology of tissue cells, with oat cells being the most common. This type of cancer is highly malignant, grows rapidly, and will metastasize extensively to the blood and lymph nodes in the early stages of the disease. It is more sensitive to radiation and chemotherapy and has the worst prognosis.
