What symptoms do lung cancer patients usually have? The three most common symptoms of lung cancer patients

Lung cancer is not a uncommon disease, especially for those of us who grow up in an environment with poor air quality. Therefore, even if our lungs are very healthy now, it will not hurt to know more about the symptoms of lung cancer. On the contrary, it can help us detect lung problems early.

What symptoms do lung cancer patients usually experience?

1. Squamous cell carcinoma, also known as squamous cell carcinoma: It is the most common lung malignancy, accounting for almost 50% of all types of lung cancer, and the most susceptible group is men over 50 years old. Common squamous cell carcinomas are mostly central lung cancers. Although the degree of differentiation may vary, the disease progresses very slowly, that is, the course of the disease is long, and it is more sensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The disease first metastasizes through the lymph nodes, and blood metastasis occurs later.

2. Adenocarcinoma: Among the symptoms of different types of lung cancer, this type of disease mostly originates from the bronchial mucosal epithelium, and only in a few cases does it originate from the large bronchial mucous glands. The incidence of this disease is lower than that of squamous cell carcinoma and undifferentiated carcinoma, and the age of onset is younger, and it is more common in the female population. The most common is peripheral lung cancer. In the early stage of the disease, there are generally no obvious clinical symptoms, and it is often discovered during a chest X-ray examination. Hematogenous metastasis occurs earlier, while lymphatic metastasis occurs later.

3. Undifferentiated carcinoma: The incidence of this type of cancer is second only to squamous cell carcinoma. It is also more common in men and has a more obvious trend of being younger. Generally, the disease originates from the larger bronchi of the body. Central lung cancer can also be divided into small round cells, large cells and oat cells according to the morphology of tissue cells, with oat cells being the most common. This type of cancer is highly malignant, grows rapidly, and will metastasize extensively to the blood and lymph nodes in the early stages of the disease. It is more sensitive to radiation and chemotherapy and has the worst prognosis.

Finally, experts pointed out that although the early symptoms of lung cancer are not serious, as the saying goes, a single spark can start a prairie fire. If the early symptoms of lung cancer are not effectively controlled, other complications of lung cancer may occur. Not only will lung cancer not be cured, but other diseases will also be difficult to cure. Lung cancer patients must be aware of the harmfulness of this disease.
