What are the symptoms of liver cancer a few hours before death? Six symptoms of liver cancer before death

As the pressure of life is getting higher and higher, people's life and diet are extremely irregular. In addition, some social activities at work sometimes lead to excessive drinking, or staying up late at night to consume physical energy. This will invisibly cause serious pressure on our liver. If it is not checked and treated in time, the consequences will be disastrous. Some patients are already in the late stage of liver cancer when they are discovered. This is so heartbreaking. Before death from liver cancer, there will be some complications, such as severe conditions such as massive gastrointestinal bleeding, tumor rupture, hepatic coma, etc. What are the symptoms of liver cancer a few hours before death?

(1) Severe lack of appetite: This may be related to the pain and discomfort caused by the cancer itself, constipation, emotional tension and depression, and gastrointestinal candidiasis. The patient has a lack of interest in food and often suffers from hiccups due to stimulation of the diaphragm by tumors in the stomach, lower esophagus or liver. The lack of mental and nutritional intake aggravates the condition of cancer patients.

(2) Severe nausea and vomiting: These are common symptoms in patients with advanced cancer. They may be a side effect of treatment or may be caused by cancer invading the digestive or nervous system. The symptoms are often more distressing than cancer pain.

(3) Pain in the liver area: In the late stage of liver cancer, normal tissues will be destroyed and infiltrated by the tumor, causing compression and destruction of the adjacent nerve roots, ischemic necrosis of local tissues, obstruction of blood return, and infiltration of bones and periosteum, all of which can cause pain. Therefore, pain is the most common complication of patients with advanced liver cancer.

(4) Malignant effusion: Malignant effusion is an important complication of malignant tumors. In the late stage of liver cancer, malignant effusion may occur in the thoracic, abdominal, peritoneal, and pericardial cavities. If not properly treated, it may rapidly deteriorate and lead to death.

(5) Dyspnea: This is a symptom that is difficult to deal with in patients with advanced cancer. Severe dyspnea can easily cause fear, and fear itself aggravates dyspnea. If not treated in time, it can easily cause shock and death.

(6) Hepatic coma: It is often a manifestation of terminal liver cancer. Gastrointestinal bleeding, secondary infection, large amounts of diuretics, electrolyte imbalance, etc. can often induce hepatic coma. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the late stage of liver cancer.
