Liver cancer patients are very likely to miss the best time for treatment. The early symptoms of this disease are not particularly obvious, but in the late stage of the disease, the symptoms are very obvious. There are many symptoms of liver cancer in the late stage. Everyone must pay more attention to their health problems. Early treatment of the disease is the key. 1. Jaundice. It can be caused by liver cell damage, or by cancer mass compressing or invading the bile duct near the liver hilum, or by the detachment of cancer tissue and blood clots causing bile duct obstruction. 2. Enlarged liver. About 90% of liver cancer patients have enlarged livers, which are progressive and hard in texture. They are uneven, with nodules or lumps of varying sizes, blunt and irregular edges, and often with varying degrees of tenderness. If the tumor is located on the diaphragmatic surface, the main manifestation is an elevation of the diaphragm, while the lower edge of the liver may not be enlarged. Because the arteries of liver cancer are rich and tortuous, or because the huge tumor compresses the hepatic artery or abdominal aorta, the inner diameter of the artery suddenly narrows, and sometimes a blowing-like vascular murmur can be heard on the abdominal wall close to the tumor. 3. Systemic manifestations of malignant tumors. Liver cancer patients have progressive weight loss, fever, loss of appetite, fatigue, malnutrition and cachexia. A small number of liver disease patients may have special systemic manifestations, called paraneoplastic syndromes, with hypoglycemia and polycythemia being the most common, and other rare symptoms include hypercalcemia, hyperlipidemia, and carcinoid. 4. Signs of liver cirrhosis. Patients with liver cancer and portal hypertension may have splenomegaly, ascites, and venous collateral circulation. The ascites increases rapidly, usually as transudate. What are the symptoms of advanced liver cancer? Bloody ascites is mostly caused by cancer invading the liver capsule or rupturing into the abdominal cavity, and occasionally by peritoneal metastasis. Although there are many symptoms of liver cancer, it is not an easily cured disease. During the treatment process, everyone must go to a regular hospital to ensure the treatment effect of the disease. At the same time, attention should also be paid to the prevention of the disease to avoid the trouble of the disease. |
