How should lung cancer patients be examined? Three examinations are often performed in clinical practice for lung cancer

1. X-ray chest film system screening, bronchial lung cancer is divided into central type and peripheral type. Peripheral lung cancer accounts for about 80%, and the early diagnosis of central type mainly relies on oncology and bronchoscopy. X-ray plain film can show secondary obstructive changes.

Lung cancer patients are best treated with traditional Chinese medicine. Experts point out that if only Western medicine is used for treatment, it will not only cause dependence on the medicine, but may also cause further damage to the body of lung cancer patients. However, before treating lung cancer, patients should still undergo relevant examinations.

How should lung cancer patients check for this disease?

1. X-ray chest film system investigation:

Bronchogenic lung cancer is divided into central and peripheral types. Peripheral lung cancer accounts for about 80%. The early diagnosis of central type mainly relies on oncology and bronchoscopy. X-rays can show secondary obstructive changes. X-rays play an important role in the early detection of peripheral lung cancer. Despite the existence of a variety of complex and advanced imaging technologies, X-rays are still the preferred imaging method for lung cancer.

2. Chest CT to screen for small lung cancer:

In terms of finding lesions, some reports indicate that spiral CT can enhance the display of lung nodules by 40% compared with plain X-ray films. Due to the large amount of X-rays and high cost, this method cannot be used for routine physical examinations. Brain CT/MRI can also be performed: Lung cancer is prone to brain metastasis, and brain examination should be performed before treatment to confirm the diagnosis. MRI examination is better than CT.

3. Bone scan to prevent distant metastasis of lung cancer:

Bone metastasis is the first symptom of the patient, and about 30% to 40% of patients in the advanced stage will develop bone metastasis. The most commonly used bone imaging technique is radionuclide bone scanning. Positive lesions indicated by bone scans, especially patients with multiple bone metastases in weight-bearing bones, should undergo CT and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for further differential diagnosis.

Finally, experts pointed out that any food that can enhance immunity is actually effective in preventing lung cancer, because lung cancer occurs because some cells appear in the body whose growth cannot be controlled. These cells are medically called cancer cells. If these cells appear in the lungs, lung cancer will form.
