What usually causes sperm with deformed heads

Women should have regular prenatal checkups after becoming pregnant, especially older women who should pay more attention to the development of the fetus. However, many fetuses are still found to have deformities. What usually causes this sperm head deformity? If a pregnant woman is infected with certain viruses or bacteria during pregnancy, it can easily cause fetal malformations, such as urinary and reproductive system infections. In addition, alcohol can also cause fetal malformations, so it is important to quit drinking and smoking before pregnancy.

1. Causes of the disease

1. Urinary and reproductive system infection: Urinary and reproductive system infection is an important factor leading to sperm abnormality. When urogenital infection occurs, the nutritional content of semen will decrease, causing sperm to become deformed or die.

2. Endocrine disorders: The secretion of certain related hormones in the body is unbalanced, resulting in an increased rate of deformities.

3. Excessive smoking: Newer studies have found that smokers can significantly increase the incidence of sperm abnormalities. The longer you smoke, the more abnormal sperm you have.

4. Alcoholism: Alcoholism is also one of the common causes of sperm abnormalities. Alcohol poisoning caused by excessive drinking may damage sperm, causing an increased rate of sperm deformity. It may also cause sexual dysfunction such as sexual apathy, impotence, and premature ejaculation.

5. Other reasons: Chemical agents, radiation, environmental pollution and other factors can cause sperm deformity.

6. Disease factors: urogenital tract infection, orchitis complicated by mumps, epididymal tuberculosis, varicocele, etc. These diseases can affect the quality of sperm and cause teratozoospermia.

7. Drug factors: The use of hormones or certain chemical drugs can cause sperm to develop immaturely, forming abnormal sperm and leading to teratozoospermia.

8. External factors: External factors such as gonads being exposed to radiation can also cause sperm mutations and form teratozoospermia.

How to treat teratozoospermia

The process of sperm formation takes at least three months, so it is recommended to adjust your lifestyle at least three months in advance, quit smoking and drinking, avoid spicy food, reduce contact with chemicals, and use tonic treatments with caution. The treatment of this disease is a slow process. Don't be too anxious and try random medical treatments, which will affect the treatment effect.
