The difference between garlic and garlic

Garlic is a common food in our diet and is often added to dishes as an auxiliary ingredient. However, many people also like garlic very much because garlic has bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects and is also good for preventing cancer. Therefore, eating garlic every day is a good habit. The difference between garlic and garlic cloves is only in appearance; their main functions are the same.

Single garlic and garlic are actually both garlic, but the cloves of single garlic are all fused together to form a huge piece of garlic. In addition to its unique appearance, garlic cloves also contain more allicin, so its bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, and detoxifying effects are stronger than garlic.

1. Single garlic is known as "penicillin grown from the ground". Compared with split garlic, single garlic contains more allicin, has a strong and warm nature, and is a natural medicine that can kill bacteria, detoxify, and cure all kinds of diseases. All garlic heads grow from a single clove of garlic. If the garlic grows to be a single head, the allicin in the garlic seed will not be separated, so it will naturally contain more allicin than in separate cloves of garlic.

2. Purple garlic has a stronger flavor than white garlic and has better medicinal effects. Mashing or slicing single garlic and applying it to the affected area can treat swelling and pain, frostbite, toothache, mosquito bites, etc. Adding a little sugar to single garlic and eating it cold is a little trick to relieve vomiting, diarrhea and dysentery. Its warming properties are also suitable for warming the stomach for people with colds, coughs or cold stomachs. Intentionally eating more single-headed garlic can lower blood pressure and blood lipids, and prevent cancer (especially gastrointestinal cancer). Single-headed garlic can remove fishy smell and relieve greasiness, and is a seasoning for many meats and seafood. Stir-fried pork slices with single-headed garlic is particularly fragrant.

3. Garlic, also known as garlic, garlic head, giant garlic, gourd, single garlic, and single-headed garlic, is a general term for garlic plants. A semi-annual herb belonging to the genus Allium in the family Liliaceae, with its bulbs used as medicine. Harvest in spring and summer, tie into bundles, hang in ventilated place, dry in the shade for later use. An agricultural proverb says "If garlic is not planted before September, it will grow into single heads." It is dug up in June when the leaves are withered, and the sand is removed. It is then air-dried or baked until the skin is dry.

4. Garlic is oblate or short conical, with grayish white or light brown membranous scales on the outside. After peeling off the scales, there are 6 to 10 garlic cloves inside, which are arranged in a whorl around the flower stalk. The base of the stem is disc-shaped and has many fibrous roots. Each garlic clove is covered with a thin film. When the film is peeled off, white, thick and juicy scales can be seen. It has a strong garlicky smell and a spicy taste. It has a pungent smell and can be eaten or used for seasoning, or as medicine. The underground bulb is divided into petals, and is divided into purple-skinned and white-skinned types according to the color of the skin. Garlic was introduced to China from the Western Regions during the Qin and Han Dynasties. After artificial cultivation and breeding, it has anti-cancer effects and is deeply loved by the public.
