What are the aspects of diagnosis of breast fibroids

Breast fibroids are a disease that often troubles the health of female friends. Female friends who suffer from this disease are very worried. Delaying treatment is very harmful and will have a great impact on women. Early treatment is best. Let us look at the following aspects of the diagnosis of breast fibroids through this article.

Diagnostic criteria:

(1) Breast fibroids are common in adolescent females, most commonly between the ages of 18 and 25.

(2) Tumors usually occur in one breast, usually solitary, and are more common in the upper outer quadrant of the breast. The tumor is usually round or oval, of varying sizes, hard, smooth, with clear boundaries, large mobility, no adhesion to the surrounding tissues, no pain or tenderness. It grows slowly and does not fester or ulcerate. It has nothing to do with the menstrual cycle.

(3) Molybdenum target X-ray and other imaging examinations can help with diagnosis. If necessary, needle aspiration cytology examination or biopsy of the tumor can be performed to ultimately confirm the diagnosis of breast fibroids.

Treatment Pathway:

1. Collect medical history in detail: the time when the lump was discovered, whether there is pain, the time and location of pain, whether there is radiating pain, the relationship between pain and menstruation, the time of the last menstrual period, previous treatment and its effect, whether there is relevant imaging data, etc.;

2. Careful physical examination + specialist physical examination: Check whether the breasts are deformed, whether the nipples are inverted or have discharge, whether the blood vessels are full or dilated; palpation is the key to check whether there are nodules and lumps, their texture, mobility, boundaries, tenderness, etc.

Everyone knows the diagnosis method of breast fibroids, so when this symptom appears, you must not be careless. You must go to a regular professional hospital for examination and treatment in time. Early detection and early treatment can effectively control the disease and shorten the treatment time. Therefore, for your own health, you must actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment.
