What are the symptoms of fibroids

In today's society, many people are troubled by fibroids. They don't know what the symptoms of fibroids are, so they go to some irregular hospitals for examination. Some patients do not receive regular treatment when they are examined for fibroids, so these patients really want to know what the symptoms of fibroids are. Let's take a look at what the symptoms of fibroids are.

First, let us understand the symptoms of fibroids. They are caused by the proliferation of fibroblasts. The disease originates from any layer of subcutaneous and submucosal connective tissue. According to the amount of fiber components contained, they are divided into hard and soft types. Generally, they grow slowly, and the principle of treatment is to remove along the root of the tumor. The surface skin of fibroids is normal, and smooth and movable tumors can be touched under the skin. There is no tenderness. The tumor is located in deep tissues, with no obvious subjective symptoms or slight discomfort. It grows slowly, with irregular or oval shapes. Its long diameter is consistent with the direction of the affected muscle fibers. The size of the tumor is related to the length of the disease. The diameter ranges from several centimeters to more than ten centimeters. The tumor has unclear boundaries, a smooth surface, no tenderness, and a tough texture like rubber. It is relatively fixed longitudinally with the invaded muscles, but can move slightly laterally. There is no adhesion to the skin. Huge tumors can affect activities and compress nerves.

Symptoms of fibroids are lumps under the skin. Generally, fibroids grow slowly and have no other symptoms. Symptoms of fibroids are that the surface skin is normal, and a smooth and movable round mass can be felt under the skin, without tenderness, with clear boundaries and hard texture. Fibromas are composed of well-differentiated subcutaneous connective tissue. They are common in adults aged 40-50 years old. The tumor grows slowly. When the tumor develops to a certain extent, it generally stops growing. It is a benign tumor. A few have malignant biological behaviors, stubbornly recur many times, but rarely metastasize to distant places. The recurrence rate is 25% to 57%. The recurrence time is mostly 1 month to 1 year after surgery, and can even reach more than 10 years, so this type of tumor is also called invasive fibromatosis. Multiple recurrences can cause the lesions to involve a wider range of areas, and uncontrollable growth will occur, invading important organs and endangering life. The treatment is mainly surgical resection.

If you have any of the above symptoms of fibroids, you must go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment to avoid worsening of the condition.
