Pancreatic cancer is a type of cancer that is difficult to cure. It is a malignant tumor in the digestive tract. With the improvement of people's living standards, people have gradually realized the importance of physical health. They no longer just pursue the enjoyment of life as before, and have done some work to prevent pancreatic cancer. So what are the symptoms of pancreatic cancer? 1. In pancreatic cancer, the most common symptoms are upper abdominal discomfort and dull pain. It is caused by tumors that often cause obstruction of the pancreatic duct or bile duct. Although jaundice has not yet occurred, bile excretion is not smooth, the pressure in the bile duct increases, and the bile duct and gallbladder are dilated to varying degrees. Patients may feel abdominal discomfort and dull pain. In the past, the typical symptom of pancreatic head cancer was emphasized to be painless jaundice; in fact, painless jaundice as the first symptom only occurs in 10% to 30% of patients. Abdominal pain is still a very common symptom in patients with pancreatic head cancer. As for pancreatic body and tail cancer, the incidence of abdominal pain is even higher; and it may be due to the involvement of the celiac plexus, which may cause significant upper abdominal pain and back pain. The appearance of this symptom often indicates that the disease has entered the late stage. 2. Pancreatic cancer patients may also experience loss of appetite and weight loss. Tumors often block the excretion of pancreatic juice and bile, thus affecting the patient's appetite, and poor digestion and absorption lead to a significant weight loss. 3. Obstructive jaundice is a prominent manifestation of pancreatic head cancer. If the tumor is located near the ampulla, jaundice may appear earlier. Jaundice is often persistent and progressive. The stool color becomes lighter or even clay-colored. The skin becomes yellow and turns brown or bronze. There is skin itching. 4. In addition to causing obstructive jaundice, pancreatic head cancer often causes gallbladder enlargement. Obstructive jaundice with gallbladder enlargement can be clearly palpated in the right upper abdomen, often indicating the possibility of periampullary tumors. 5. Patients with advanced pancreatic cancer may also develop a fixed mass in the upper abdomen, positive ascites signs, and further manifestations such as cachexia and liver, lung or bone metastasis. The above are the most typical symptoms of pancreatic cancer, and most patients have these symptoms. We all know that the cure rate of this disease is relatively low, so we must strengthen prevention and spend more time to regulate our bodies. Don't regret it after getting this disease. You must know that there is no regret medicine in this world. |
