Malignant lymphoma generally does not transfer to the fetus through the placental barrier. Pregnancy complicated by malignant lymphoma requires a comprehensive weighing of the pros and cons based on the parity, severity of the disease during pregnancy, and duration of pregnancy. However, according to current medical standards, both radiotherapy and chemotherapy will have adverse effects on the mother and fetus. In early pregnancy, if the lymphoma lesions are limited to or spread below the diaphragm and the fetus cannot avoid irradiation, the patient should terminate the pregnancy immediately. If the lesions are extensive and the disease progresses rapidly, termination of pregnancy should also be considered. In the middle and late stages of pregnancy, the pregnancy may be allowed to continue if the lesions are not life-threatening for the time being. Especially in the late stages of pregnancy, treatment can be delayed until the fetus survives and is delivered.
