What to do if you have a fever due to gallbladder cancer

Do you know the treatment of fever caused by gallbladder cancer? What is the treatment of fever caused by gallbladder cancer? What should be paid attention to in the treatment of fever caused by gallbladder cancer? Fever caused by gallbladder cancer was not common in the past, but has been increasing in recent years. Currently, there is no large-scale clinical epidemiological data in China. Scattered data reports show that its incidence accounts for about 1% of all cancers. There are more female patients over 50 years old, with a female to male ratio of 3:1. It is one of the common malignant tumors of the biliary system and ranks fifth among digestive tract tumors in my country.

The cause of fever in gallbladder cancer is not very clear. Most people believe that it is caused by a combination of factors, which is related to diet, bacterial infection, parasites, and gallbladder papilloma. Mechanical stimulation such as stones, inflammation, abnormal cholesterol metabolism and bile stimulation cause chronic inflammation and atypical hyperplasia of the mucosa, and then cancer. More than 80% of patients with fever in gallbladder cancer also have gallbladder stones, and about 10% of patients with gallbladder stones develop gallbladder cancer, and their incidence rate is significantly higher than that of patients without stones. Certain chemicals may induce cancer, but the evidence is not sufficient. This disease is highly malignant, grows rapidly, and is prone to early metastasis. Due to the special anatomical structure and position of the gallbladder, the gallbladder wall has abundant lymphatic vessels, so the cancer often infiltrates or metastasizes to the liver, intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile ducts, and portal vein. In the late stage, distant metastasis often occurs, which can be transferred to tissues and organs such as bones and lungs.

Gallbladder cancer is mostly asymptomatic in the early stage, and lacks typical specific manifestations. It is difficult to distinguish it from benign gallbladder diseases such as chronic cholecystitis, gallstones, and gallbladder polyps. When it comes to the doctor, it is mostly in the middle and late stages. The preoperative diagnosis rate is less than 20%, and the actual resection rate is extremely low. Gallbladder cancer is not sensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy; interventional treatment is difficult to accurately locate. The prognosis of this disease is poor at this stage. Therefore, many people with gallbladder cancer seek treatment from traditional Chinese medicine for fever, and traditional Chinese medicine sometimes becomes the main treatment for this disease. In recent years, we have diagnosed and treated many patients with gallbladder cancer, achieved certain therapeutic effects, and accumulated some experience, which is introduced below.
