Is late stage renal cancer contagious?

Kidney cancer, also known as renal cell carcinoma or renal adenocarcinoma, is the most common malignant tumor of the kidney. Due to the increase in average life expectancy and the advancement of medical imaging, the incidence of kidney cancer has increased. Kidney cancer mostly occurs in people aged 50 to 70, and the incidence rate in men is more than twice that in women. So is late-stage kidney cancer contagious?

What is certain so far is that cancer is not contagious. Please rest assured, patients and their families. Because the so-called contagion, in simple terms, is a disease that spreads from one person to another through some means. Contagion must meet three conditions: the source of infection, the route of transmission, and the susceptible population. All three are indispensable. Clinical data prove that cancer patients themselves are not the source of infection. Experts have conducted such an experiment. Cancerous tissue removed from cancer patients was directly implanted in another person and could not survive and grow. Although it is currently believed that the occurrence of certain cancers is related to certain viruses, such as cervical cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, and leukemia, it has not yet been confirmed that infection with certain viruses will definitely lead to certain cancers.
In addition, experts said that there is another strong basis for the fact that cancer is not contagious, which is analyzed from the global perspective. Cancer is not currently listed as an infectious disease in the world, and patients are not isolated as infectious diseases. Moreover, the incidence of cancer is not higher than that of the general population. Animal experiments have also proven that when cancerous animals and healthy animals are kept together for a long time, no contagion is found after repeated observation and examination.
