How to avoid breast cancer during pregnancy

What should you do if you unfortunately get breast cancer during pregnancy or breastfeeding? These mothers face the difficult choice of "saving the child or saving themselves" during pregnancy. There are also mothers who unfortunately leave their newborn babies behind due to breast cancer shortly after becoming mothers. This is so heartbreaking. Therefore, breast cancer during breastfeeding and pregnancy should not be underestimated.


Gestational breast cancer refers to primary breast cancer that occurs during pregnancy or within one year of pregnancy, and lactational breast cancer refers to primary breast cancer that occurs during breastfeeding. Although this type of breast cancer is clinically rare, it should not be underestimated. According to foreign reports, its incidence rate accounts for about 2 to 3 of all breast cancer patients, while the reports in my country are higher than the foreign level, accounting for about 7 to 12 of all breast cancer patients.

3. Take a balanced diet, pay attention to salt intake, and prevent pregnancy poisoning.

4. Regular health check-ups are essential to achieve early prevention, early diagnosis, and early treatment. For example, prenatal screening or prenatal diagnosis should be done in time in the early stages of pregnancy, and the number of obstetric check-ups should be increased according to the doctor's advice in the late stages of pregnancy.

5. Participate in pregnancy training courses to help pregnant women prepare for the delivery process psychologically and physically before delivery. Through breathing and relaxation training, they can master delivery skills and pain relief techniques.

6. Give birth in a hospital with complete equipment and good conditions.
