Can brain cancer be cured if it doesn't spread?

Brain tumors are tumors that grow inside the skull and can occur at any age, but are most common between the ages of 20 and 50. Due to their expansive and invasive growth, once they occupy a certain space inside the skull, whether they are benign or malignant, they are bound to increase intracranial pressure, compress brain tissue, cause central nervous system damage, and endanger the patient's life. Therefore, once a brain tumor is discovered, it must be treated in a timely manner. So, can brain cancer be cured without spreading?

Surgery can be used in the early stage, and Chinese medicine can be used to consolidate the treatment after surgery. Chinese medicine can strengthen the body, attack and supplement, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, detoxify and attack toxins, and resolve phlegm (soften hard masses) and disperse nodules. It can improve immunity, protect the body's normal functions, improve the patient's clinical symptoms, relieve the patient's pain, improve the patient's quality of life, and prolong life. As long as active treatment is given, there will be no danger to life.
Radiation therapy is the most common adjuvant treatment for tumors, which usually starts 1 to 2 weeks after surgery. Radiation therapy mainly kills tumor cells by taking advantage of the fact that tumor cells are more sensitive to radiation and are more susceptible to damage from radiation. Generally, the treatment takes about four to eight weeks, and the size of the irradiation range and the dose will be determined based on the different tumor pathological diagnosis, degree of differentiation and imaging medical examination results.

Radiotherapy is an effective method for many malignant tumors and deep benign tumors that cannot be safely removed. Currently, radiotherapy has developed into a form of concomitant or localized treatment, including linear accelerator radiotherapy, gamma-ray localized radiosurgery, photon knife, etc. However, some malignant brain tumors still require large-scale brain radiotherapy or whole-skull and spine radiotherapy.
