Can childhood skin cancer be cured?

Can skin cancer in children be cured? To know the answer to this question, we must first understand the causes of skin cancer. In addition to excessive ultraviolet radiation and daily exposure to the sun, there are other factors that cause skin cancer, such as ionizing radiation, chronic irritation, and inflammation. Long-term exposure to chemical carcinogens is also a common cause of skin cancer.

In the early stages of skin cancer, the symptoms are not particularly serious and have not damaged the bones. At this time, the commonly used treatment methods are surgical treatment and assisted radiation therapy, which can achieve good results and can easily remove the cancerous area surgically.

However, if the diseased area is on the face or the tumor is extensive and large, surgical treatment is not an option. Although surgical treatment can quickly remove the lesion, it also has obvious disadvantages. For example, metastasis and recurrence are still likely to occur after surgical treatment. At this time, other treatment methods are generally required to achieve satisfactory results for patients.

Compared with surgery, the biggest advantage of radiotherapy is that it does not have a significant impact on beauty, unlike surgery which leaves obvious scars, and patients can also use radiotherapy after surgery to prevent metastasis and recurrence. However, radiotherapy kills normal cells and has significant side effects on the patient's body. Many patients will experience various conditions such as decreased white blood cells, and repeated use of this treatment method will cause patients to no longer be sensitive to this treatment method, and the initial effect will not be as good.

Another treatment method is CLS biological therapy, which can not only eliminate tumor cells but also solve the problem of cancer spread and metastasis. Especially in the early stages, its complete cure rate can reach one-third. Even if the cure rate does not reach this standard in the middle and late stages, it can still prolong the patient's life. Therefore, with the continuous development of medical technology, the question of whether skin cancer can be cured will definitely be better solved.
