Introduction: Is skin cancer hereditary?

Skin cancer is one of the more serious cancers. It is more difficult to treat in the late stage, so you need to go to the hospital for observation and treatment in time. Of course, if you find that your family members or relatives have such a disease, you will also have the same worry, worrying about whether such a disease will be inherited. So, is skin cancer inherited?

Experts say that skin cancer, as a relatively common multiple malignant tumor in clinical practice, has its own uniqueness. With the increasing number of patients with the disease and the experience of doctors, it can be seen that skin cancer is somewhat hereditary.
According to the clinical symptoms of the disease, skin cancer is divided into three common types. One is malignant melanoma, which is more common in the white race. Although the incidence of this disease is relatively low, it is basically discovered in the late stage and is relatively troublesome to treat, especially for patients with a family history of multiple skin melanomas. The risk of familial genetic disease is increased, and the heritability is also the greatest; the second is squamous cell carcinoma, which is a more malignant skin cancer with a faster development speed. The needle-like manifestations are mostly in the patient's head, neck, limbs, trunk and other parts, but it is not as strong in genetics as melanoma; the third type is basal cell carcinoma, which often occurs in the elderly. The disease develops relatively slowly, the symptoms are not very obvious, and it is relatively less hereditary.
