Can I drink alcohol after taking L-carnitine

L-carnitine is a drug used to consume fat. This drug is a weight loss drug and is the most common substance in it. Many women will eat something that can consume fat in order to lose weight quickly during the weight loss process. When taking L-carnitine, many people will also experience some allergic reactions. This is a synthetic chemical substance. So can you drink alcohol when taking L-carnitine?

Left-carnitine, also known as L-carnitine and vitamin BT, has the chemical name β-hydroxyγ-trimethylammonium butyrate. It is a white crystal or white transparent fine powder. L-carnitine is very easy to absorb moisture. Those with better stability can be placed in a solution of pH 3 to 6 for more than one year. It can withstand high temperatures above 200°C and has good water solubility and water absorption.

Currently, L-carnitine has been used in the fields of medicine, health care, and food, and has been stipulated as a legal multi-purpose nutrient by Switzerland, France, the United States and the World Health Organization. my country's Food Additive Hygienic Standard GB2760-1996 stipulates that L-carnitine tartrate is a food nutrient enhancer and can be used in chewable tablets, drinking liquids, capsules, milk powder and milk beverages. L-carnitine in the diet mainly comes from animals, while the content in plants is very small: rich sources include lean meat, liver, heart, yeast, lamb, chicken, rabbit meat, milk and whey; good sources in plants include avocado, kiwi, grapes, papaya, lemon, aloe vera, lotus leaf, Pu'er tea casein and malt and other small amounts of Taiwan high mountain fruits.

People who are fasting, vegetarian, exercising vigorously, obese, pregnant, male infertile, and infants who eat formula foods that are not fortified with carnitine are prone to carnitine deficiency. Low levels of lysine, vitamins and iron in the diet also lead to carnitine deficiency. Many patients, such as those with heart disease, hyperlipidemia, kidney disease, cirrhosis, malnutrition, hypothyroidism, and certain muscle and nerve diseases, generally have low carnitine levels. The supplementation of L-carnitine mainly relies on exogenous supplementation, and the importance of supplementing carnitine is no less than that of supplementing vitamins and mineral elements. Muscle growth depends on your body's ability to convert fatty acids into energy. L-Carnitine is an essential amino acid for this conversion. Different types of daily diets already contain 5-100 mg of L-carnitine. L-carnitine is produced in the liver and kidneys and stored in the muscles, semen, brain and heart. Some people fail to adequately consume L-carnitine in their diet, resulting in a deficiency of this nutrient. As a result, they may slowly develop heart disease, muscle weakness, or low blood sugar.
