What are the nursing issues and measures for lymphoma

Lymphoma can cause many people's lymph nodes to swell, which will affect the patient's appearance and cause depression. These are not conducive to the recovery of the disease, so parents should take good psychological care measures for the patient. Now I will introduce some good care measures to everyone!

1. Psychological care

Patients with malignant tumors may experience a series of psychological changes, including denial, anger, compromise, depression and acceptance stages to varying degrees. They should be closely observed and given different guidance and psychological support.

(ii) Nutritional care

Patients are encouraged to take in adequate nutrition and eat a high-protein, high-vitamin, high-calorie, easily digestible diet. For those with poor appetite and difficulty eating, small meals and a low-residue diet are recommended. If necessary, intravenous high-nutrient support should be given. During radiotherapy, spicy and dry foods should be avoided, such as pepper, onion, garlic, leek, lamb, chicken, etc.

3. Pain care

Pay attention to observe the location, nature, duration and intensity of the patient's pain, and guide the patient to use different methods to control pain. For those whose pain is difficult to control, medication can be given according to the doctor's orders based on the three-level step analgesia plan.

(IV) Postoperative Care

Pay attention to monitoring vital signs and changes in the condition, take good care of the drainage tube, incision and skin to prevent infection. If there are no contraindications after surgery, you can get out of bed and move around after 1 to 7 days, that is, early out of bed movement. You can do limb exercises and turn over in bed first. If the body recovers well, you can gradually increase the amount of exercise and change the content of exercise.

(V) Radiotherapy Nursing

Instruct family members to reduce the patient's activities during radiotherapy to ensure the patient's physical and mental rest. The patient should rest in bed for 30 minutes before and after radiotherapy. During radiotherapy, pay attention to mucosal protection, observe the functional status of local organs, and prevent the occurrence of secondary infection.

(VI) Chemotherapy care

Patiently explain to the patient, obtain effective treatment cooperation, pay attention to the stimulation of the drug solution on the blood vessel wall, and immediately change the injection site and perform local procaine blockade if extravasation is found. During chemotherapy, pay attention to observe whether there are skin ecchymosis, gingival bleeding, infection and other reactions.

I learned that there are many kinds of nursing measures for malignant lymphoma. In addition to psychological care measures, dietary measures and postoperative care measures are very important. If you want your disease to be effectively controlled, you should cooperate with the doctor's treatment and take daily care measures.
