Is solid lymph node in the neck lymphoma?

Lymphoma is one of the most common tumors in the world today. Its cause and mechanism of disease are still unclear. In recent years, the number of lymphoma patients in our country has been increasing. The lymphatic system is the body's immune system. Is the solid lymph node in the neck lymphatic cancer? Let me introduce it to you.

Clinically, there are many diseases that can cause swollen lymph nodes. The discovery of swollen lymph nodes does not necessarily mean that you have lymphoma. Because only a very small part of them are caused by lymphoma. When patients find that they have swollen lymph nodes, they should not be nervous or take it lightly. They should go to the relevant medical unit in time to make a clear diagnosis as soon as possible. When seeing a doctor, you should provide the doctor with a detailed medical history, including the time when the swollen lymph nodes were first discovered and the subsequent growth rate, whether there are accompanying systemic symptoms, and whether there is a family history or past history. The doctor will conduct a comprehensive physical examination, and pay special attention to the location of the swollen lymph nodes, whether there is liver and spleen enlargement and skin damage, and will also select appropriate laboratory tests to evaluate the possible causes of swollen lymph nodes.

If the cause of lymph node enlargement is still unclear after various examinations, lymph node biopsy should be considered, including lymph node needle aspiration biopsy and lymph node removal biopsy. If there is skin damage, skin biopsy can also be considered, and bone marrow, liver, and spleen puncture biopsy can be performed if necessary. Depending on the condition, sputum can be collected or chest and abdominal fluid can be extracted to find lymphoma cells. In addition, imaging examinations can also be combined, including ultrasound examinations, X-rays, CT scans, and magnetic resonance imaging if necessary to find lesions.
