What are the methods for diagnosing lymphoma?

Every year, too many patients die from lymphoma. Its incidence is very high. It is a very terrible disease. When we find its symptoms in life, we should go to the hospital for treatment immediately. As long as we get treatment immediately, the lymphoma disease will recover. Next, let's see what are the ways to diagnose lymphoma!

Malignant lymphoma is a malignant tumor originating from lymphatic reticular tissue. Malignant lymphoma of the large intestine includes extranodal lymphoma originating from the intestine and secondary lesions of malignant lymphoma in other parts of the intestine that affect the gastrointestinal tract during the course of the disease. The onset of the primary is insidious and lacks specificity in the early stage. The prognosis is often poor due to delayed diagnosis and treatment. It is more likely to occur in the terminal ileum and cecum where lymphatic tissue is rich, followed by the right colon. The distribution characteristics can be limited, but generally wider than cancer.

Fiber colonoscopy is the main method for diagnosing this disease, and the endoscopic positive rate is as high as 50% to 80%. It is worth noting that although sometimes the endoscopy is highly suspected of being a malignant lesion, the biopsy pathology can only find inflammatory cell infiltration, and no cancer. This is because although intestinal malignant lymphoma has certain histological characteristics such as the atypia of tissue cells and lymphocytes, pathological nuclear division images, and tissue structure destruction, it is often not diagnosed due to shallow sampling, too small tissue blocks, and squeezing during tissue clamping. Therefore, the biopsy of this disease is different from that of colon cancer. In addition to mucosal sampling, it is necessary to clamp the submucosal tissue. Once the endoscopic results are inconsistent with the pathological results several times, you should be alert to the possibility of this disease.

This disease should be mainly differentiated from colorectal cancer. The clinical manifestations and medical history of the two are similar. Sometimes fiber colonoscopy cannot completely distinguish the two. The final diagnosis often requires biopsy for differentiation.

We all know the diagnosis method of lymphoma. When the symptoms of lymphoma appear in life, we should go to the hospital for diagnosis immediately. Only with timely diagnosis can the disease of lymphoma recover slowly. We should have good eating habits in life. I wish the patients good health and a speedy recovery!
