1. Drug treatment: The efficacy of currently known chemotherapy drugs on gallbladder cancer is not ideal. Drugs targeting digestive tract tumors can be used as a reference for selection. Immunoenhancing drugs can be used as important auxiliary treatment drugs for gallbladder cancer.
2. Surgical treatment Surgical resection is the first choice for the treatment of early gallbladder cancer. As long as the patient's general condition permits, surgical resection of the diseased gallbladder should be performed as much as possible, and the decision on whether to perform extended clearance surgery should be made based on the pathological results. It is generally believed that when the lesion involves the gallbladder muscle layer, an extended clearance surgery should be performed, including removal of liver tissue near the gallbladder bed and the soft tissue of the hepatoduodenal ligament and clearance of the lymph nodes draining the gallbladder area. When extrahepatic bile duct involvement is suspected, extrahepatic bile duct resection can be considered.
