Causes of pleural effusion in lung cancer

What are the causes of pleural effusion in lung cancer? Symptoms of lung cancer generally include coughing, coughing up blood, pain, etc. If not treated in time, it will seriously affect the patient's life safety. Therefore, all measures should be taken to prevent the occurrence of lung cancer metastasis. Many people will have pleural effusion, so what causes it?

Causes of pleural effusion in lung cancer:

The cause of pleural effusion in lung cancer The early symptoms of lung cancer are not very obvious and it is very easy to metastasize. During the metastasis process, some cancerous cells will fall into the pleural effusion. As the tumor of lung cancer patients gradually grows, it invades the chest wall tissue and compresses the lungs and visceral pleura, affecting the reabsorption of fluid and protein. The fluid accumulates in the pleural cavity and forms pleural effusion. If the symptoms of pleural effusion are not treated in time, it will still lead to serious clinical symptoms and even cause the tumor to metastasize to the parietal pleura.

Generally speaking, there are a large number of cancer cells in the lungs of patients with lung cancer, and they are constantly multiplying and growing. This not only brings great pain to patients, but also affects the mental state of their families, thus bearing heavy mental pressure and burden. Influenza is an upper respiratory tract inflammation caused by viral infection of the respiratory tract. The influenza virus can be transmitted to others through breathing due to close contact. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is excreted in the sputum of patients and inhaled into the lungs by healthy people in the air. When the body's resistance is reduced, tuberculosis can occur. However, there has never been an example of healthy animals of the same species being raised together with animals with lung cancer developing lung cancer. Lung is a specific sensation of lung tissue caused by infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In order to prevent lung cancer, some people have doubts about lung cancer, suspecting that lung cancer can be transmitted to others, and avoid lung cancer patients. In fact, this understanding is wrong. So is lung cancer contagious? The results of clinical observations are also the same. Lung cancer patients are often admitted to hospital wards, but no tumors have been found because of living in the same room. Many hospitals do not separate lung cancer patients from patients with other diseases. Therefore, it can be considered that lung cancer is not contagious. The cause of lung cancer is still not very clear, but it is definitely closely related to environmental pollution and long-term stimulation of the bronchial and lung tissues by inhaling toxic gases containing carcinogens.

Lung cancer originates from the bronchial mucosal epithelium. Tumors that are confined to the basement membrane are called carcinoma in situ. They can grow into the bronchial cavity and/or adjacent lung tissue, and can spread through lymphatic blood circulation or transbronchial metastasis. The growth rate and metastasis of the tumor are related to the biological characteristics such as the histological type and degree of differentiation of the tumor. The distribution of lung cancer is more common in the right lung than in the left lung, and in the upper lobe than in the lower lobe. Tumors can occur from the main bronchi to the bronchioles. Lung cancer that originates from the main bronchi and lobar bronchi, and is located close to the hilum of the lung, is called central lung cancer; lung cancer that originates below the segmental bronchi and is located in the peripheral part of the lung is called peripheral lung cancer.

Above we have introduced the causes of pleural effusion in lung cancer. Pleural effusion is also one of the symptoms of lung cancer, but it varies from person to person, and some are not very obvious. I believe that everyone has understood some of the reasons introduced above. I hope that lung cancer patients can face it correctly and actively seek treatment.
