Sometimes during the cupping process, the doctor will perform bloodletting on the patient, which means inserting a few needles on the patient's back so that some blood can be drawn out during the cupping. This method of cupping is also called back bloodletting. It is mainly for patients with strong lung fire and liver fire, and can play a more effective role in reducing fire. So what are the parts of the back for bloodletting? Bloodletting (I) Mumps Three-edged needle therapy, prescriptions are divided into three groups. One group: Perform routine disinfection on the red and swollen parotid gland under the ear, on the upper, middle and lower straight lines, prick with a three-edged needle to squeeze out the blood, apply cupping for 10 to 20 minutes, and apply a detoxifying plaster after removing the cup. Group 2: Use a three-edged needle to prick and bleed once at three points above, in the middle, and below the helix. Group three: bloodletting from the second blood vessel behind the ear. Hyperthyroidism Three-edged needle therapy: Acupoint selection: Local neck lump. During treatment, the patient sits upright and slightly tilts his head back. He fixes the tumor with his left hand and holds a three-edged needle (diameter 0.9-2 mm, length 10-20 cm, selected according to the size of the tumor) in his right hand to pierce the gland of the tumor horizontally. The needle is inserted quickly to just hit the opposite wall. After insertion, do not twist the needle or lift it. Quickly withdraw the needle to the subcutaneous tissue, then pierce four needles up, down, left and right, with the depth just reaching the opposite wall (i.e., five needles are in a cone shape). Be careful not to deviate each time the needle is pulled out. After quickly removing the needle, press the needle hole with a sterilized cotton ball for 3 to 5 minutes to prevent bleeding. Acupuncture is performed once a day, 7 to 10 times as a course of treatment, and rest periods of 3 to 7 days between courses (this method is also suitable for simple goiter). Root cutting therapy: acupoints: lung shu and heart shu. After the acupoints are disinfected and locally anesthetized, a small blade is used to cut the epidermis of the acupoints with a length of 1 cm, and a three-edged needle is used to cut the subcutaneous fibrous tissue with a depth of 0.3 to 0.5 cm. After picking 3 to 4 times, iodine is applied externally, covered with sterile gauze, and fixed with adhesive tape. One acupoint is selected for each treatment, and the acupoints are used alternately, with the roots cut once every 7-10 days. Trigeminal neuralgia The acupoints for skin acupuncture therapy are group one: back of the neck, both sides of the spine, in front of the ear and temple, under the jaw, and around the eyes or mouth; group two: pain points, in front of the ear, under the ear, sun, nose area, palms, and fingertips. Facial nerve paralysis Acupoints for triangular needle therapy: oral mucosa on the affected side (suitable for patients with initial illness), bloodletting with a triangular needle or cutting with a blade to make it bleed. The acupoints for skin acupuncture therapy are group one: both sides of the spine (mainly cervical vertebrae and thoracic vertebrae 1-5), in front of the ear, temporal, supraorbital, infraorbital, and submandibular; group two: posterior neck, in front of the ear, submandibular, temporal, supraorbital foramen, infraorbital foramen, combined with Gu. Acupoints for cupping therapy: Xiaguan, Qianzheng, Taiyang, Yangbai, all on the affected side. Choose 1-2 acupoints each time, use a small fire cupping jar, and cupping for about 10 minutes by throwing fire or flashing fire method, or use skin needle to prick the acupoints and then cupping. Treat once every 3 days and it is advisable to cooperate with other therapies. This method is effective during the inflammatory period or when there is facial inversion aftermath. Cerebrovascular accident For closed syndrome, it is advisable to open the orifices, reduce inflammation and resolve phlegm, dispel wind and promote the flow of qi; the twelve Jing points, the Du meridian, and the foot Jueyin meridian points are mainly used, and bleeding is punctured with a three-edged needle for strong stimulation; bloodletting is also used at the Jing points. Acupoints for skin acupuncture therapy: Speech dysphoria, Yamen, Fengmen, Tongli, Yifeng, Lianquan, Jiaji (thoracic 5-6, thoracic 8 to sacral 5), etc.; hemiplegia, Jiaji (thoracic 5-lumbar 5-sacral 5), hand yangming, foot yangming, Shaoyang, and Taiyang meridians. Headache Acupuncture points for skin therapy: Both sides of the spine, mainly the cervical and sacral areas; Ashi points on the head. Acupoints for incision therapy: incision treatment site three on the palm, incision treatment site four on the palm. Acupoints for cupping therapy: Yintang, Taiyang, Quchi. Cupping is suitable for patients with excess symptoms, while cupping can be used for those with blood stasis. stiff neck Skin acupuncture therapy: Acupoints: Dashu, Dazhui, Jianjing, Jianwaishu, Fengmen, Fengchi, and 1-4 jingjiaji points; tap along the lines between the acupoints from top to bottom and from inside to outside until redness occurs without bleeding. Treatment is done twice a day. Cupping therapy: Acupoint: Ashi point (pain point). First, use a skin needle to tap the painful spot. If a slight bleeding spot appears, use cupping to remove the blood clots. cataract Picking treatment method: If the right eye is affected, ask the patient to extend his left palm over the right shoulder, with the hand close to the shoulder blade area. Within the range of three horizontal fingers below the tip of the middle finger, 1 to 3 red rash spots can be found and picked open (the opposite is true for the left eye). At the same time, take equal amounts of dishwashing leaves (southern herb) and green onions, mix and mash them, and wrap them around the big toe on the same side of the affected eye and the thumb on the opposite hand. For both eye diseases and rashes on both shoulders, both should be treated, and both hands should also be covered with medicine at the same time. |
