Will I vomit blood if I have liver cancer?

Liver cancer refers to a tumor that occurs in the liver. In the early stage, patients have no obvious symptoms. It will not be discovered until the disease develops to a certain extent. Vomiting blood is a common complication of liver cancer. So what are the reasons for vomiting blood in liver cancer patients? Liver cancer, non-primary. Cancer cells metastasized from the gallbladder to the liver. After surgery, the gallbladder and part of the liver were removed, but vomiting blood appeared about a week later.

Vomiting blood indirectly caused by portal hypertension is a common cause of vomiting blood in patients with liver cancer. Clinically, portal hypertension often causes varicose veins at the fundus of the esophagus. The gastric mucosa becomes very thin due to varicose veins, and the thinned gastric mucosa is easily damaged by rough food. After gastric juice refluxes into the esophagus, it will corrode the already very thin mucosa. Violent movements such as nausea, vomiting, and coughing will cause a sudden increase in intra-abdominal pressure, followed by an increase in portal vein pressure, which will eventually lead to a sudden rupture of the varicose veins and acute bleeding.

Liver failure and prolonged prothrombin time: Poor blood coagulation can cause vomiting of blood in liver cancer patients.

Some liver cancer patients experience tumor necrosis, rupture and bleeding, which may break into the bile duct and enter the duodenum, causing vomiting blood: Vomiting blood from liver cancer may occur acutely. It is one of the complications of liver cancer and one of the more dangerous symptoms. If vomiting blood cannot be controlled in time, it may cause the patient to die from excessive blood loss.

The above is the reason for vomiting blood due to liver cancer. I hope everyone will pay more attention to it. Experts remind: liver cancer is extremely harmful to health and even life-threatening, and early detection is very helpful for treatment. Therefore, once you feel unwell, you should go to the hospital for examination in time to ensure your health.
