Who is prone to cervical cancer

The process of cervical cancer is long, and it usually takes about 10 years to develop. Due to this characteristic of cervical cancer, 95% of cervical cancer can be effectively prevented. Once the disease is discovered early, it can be completely blocked from developing into cancer through standardized treatment. The high-risk groups favored by cervical cancer are the following categories:

(1) Women who have had sexual activity too early, that is, women who have had sexual activity before the age of 18.

(2)Women aged 40 and above.

(3) Women with multiple pregnancies, premature births or long-term oral contraceptive use.

(4) Women who have multiple sexual partners or whose spouses have multiple sexual partners.

(5) Patients with a history of human papillomavirus, herpes simplex virus, HIV infection or other sexually transmitted diseases.

(6) Women who smoke, take drugs, or are malnourished. Compared with non-smokers, women who smoke have a higher relative risk of cervical cancer and ovarian cancer, with the former being 4.4 and the latter being 2.8. Passive smokers in the family have a 2.5 times higher relative risk of cervical cancer than non-passive smokers.

(7) Women with chronic cervicitis, cervical erosion, leukoplakia, cervical tear or precancerous lesions.

(8) Women who have sexual contact with men at high risk of penile cancer or prostate cancer.

(9) Patients with severe atypical cervical hyperplasia.

(10) Women who never participate in cervical cancer screening.

(11) Women whose mothers or sisters have cervical cancer.
