Three external treatment methods of Chinese medicine for bedsores caused by rectal cancer

Rectal cancer is a relatively common malignant tumor of the digestive tract. Long-term bed rest can lead to bedsores. For those with weaker bodies, external treatment with traditional Chinese medicine can be used for treatment, which has better results.

Erhuanglianqiao liquid for external application

Chinese medicine: 10 grams of Coptis chinensis, Scutellaria baicalensis, and Forsythia suspensa.

Usage: Grind the above Chinese medicine, add 200 ml of water, soak for 20 minutes, decoct and filter out the liquid for later use. Clean the wound surface before applying, and apply the medicine with a sterile cotton swab. For first-stage bedsores, apply once every 10 minutes for 3 times. After sterile debridement of stage II and III bedsores, apply the medicine with a sterile gauze of appropriate size, wet the wound surface, cover with oil paper to keep it moist, and treat for half an hour each time, 3 times a day, and 2 weeks as a course of treatment.

Efficacy: Detoxification, blood stasis removal, sore healing and tissue regeneration.

Yunnan Baiyao external treatment method?

Traditional Chinese medicine: appropriate amount of Yunnan Baiyao powder.

Usage: For patients with grade I bedsores, Yunnan Baiyao powder can be dissolved in 75% alcohol to make a thin paste, and then a cotton swab can be dipped into the paste and applied to the affected area 3 to 4 times a day. For grade II or III bedsores, use aseptic operation to extract the exudate from the skin blisters, or clean the wound and apply Yunnan Baiyao, then cover it with sterile gauze. The dressing can be changed every other day depending on the condition.

Efficacy: Detoxify, remove blood stasis, eliminate rot and promote new growth.

External application of dragon blood powder

Chinese medicine: Dragon Blood Capsule

Usage: First scrub the ulcer surface with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, and rinse it with sterile saline. Wipe the wound dry with sterile gauze, apply the powder in Longxuejie capsule evenly on the ulcer surface, press the powder with sterile gauze for a few seconds to make full contact with the ulcer surface, cover with sterile dry gauze, and change the dressing 1 to 2 times a day.

Efficacy: Dragon's Blood has the effects of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, improving local blood circulation, healing sores and promoting tissue regeneration.
