Treatment of blood-heat-dampness-toxicity type skin cancer with Chinese medicine

my country has records of traditional Chinese medicine treating skin cancer since the Sui Dynasty. After thousands of years of continuous improvement and summary by traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, skin cancer is divided into different types according to the different symptoms of skin cancer patients in order to achieve symptomatic treatment. Among the many types is the blood heat and dampness toxicity type, and its symptoms and treatment details are as follows.

The symptoms of patients with blood heat dampness toxicity type skin cancer are generally as follows: At first, the skin is a raised papule or nodule that is the size of a rice grain or soybean, dark red, with a yellow-brown or dark gray scab in the center, and hard raised edges. Over time, the lesion may gradually expand and even form an ulcer, with fluid and blood, which is foul-smelling or covered by exudate and does not heal for a long time. There may also be deeper ulcers, such as turning flower-shaped or protruding outward like cauliflower, red tongue, greasy coating, and a stringy and slippery pulse.

After the classification is determined, the treatment method of clearing heat and cooling blood, removing dampness and detoxification should be adopted. The prescription is as follows: Dehumidification and Detoxification Decoction (5 qian of Dictamni, 4 qian of soybean yellow roll, 4 qian of raw coix seed, 4 qian of wild smilax, 2 qian of gardenia, 3 qian of moutan bark, 5 qian of honeysuckle, 4 qian of forsythia, 3 qian of ground herb, 2 qian of akebia, 5 qian of talc, 2 qian of raw licorice) is modified. 20g of Dictamni, 30g each of raw coix seed, wild smilax, white flower tongue snake grass, and agrimony, 15g each of soybean yellow roll, gardenia, moutan bark, forsythia, Viola yedoensis, honeysuckle, and Scutellaria barbata, and 10g of raw licorice.

If the pain of the lump is severe, add 15g of Corydalis yanhusuo, 10g each of milkvetch and myrrh to promote blood circulation and relieve pain; if the lump is hard, add 30g each of oyster and salvia miltiorrhiza, and 15g of kelp to soften and disperse the lump; if the mouth is dry and bitter, add 10g of scutellaria baicalensis and 15g of bamboo shavings to clear the liver and reduce fire; if fever occurs, add 10g of bupleurum and 30g of rehmannia root.
