Dietary conditioning methods for patients with colon cancer after surgery

The colon occupies a large space in the intestinal cavity. Surgery for colon cancer patients is very exhausting and the patients are extremely weak after surgery. Wound healing and physical recovery require a large amount of nutrients. Therefore, patients need to pay special attention to diet therapy during this period.

Duck liver and black fungus soup

Ingredients: 150 grams of duck liver, 50 grams of celery, 20 grams of fungus (soaked in water), 50 grams of fresh mushrooms, garlic, onion, ginger, sesame oil, salt and rice wine as appropriate.

Preparation: Cut celery into small pieces, dice mushrooms and black fungus, chop liver into puree and mix with rice wine, salt and cornstarch. Stir-fry ginger and garlic until fragrant, add mushrooms and black fungus, add appropriate amount of water and boil, then add liver puree and stir to taste, add celery and boil, then add a little sesame oil.

Efficacy: Nourishes yin and blood, enhances immunity.

Longan meat porridge

Ingredients: 25 grams of longan flesh, 5 red dates, 100 grams of polished rice.

Preparation: Cook the above ingredients together into porridge. Eat 1 to 2 bowls each morning and evening.

Efficacy: It can be used for patients with severe anemia after colon cancer and other cancer operations.

Fried dried shrimps with rice

Ingredients: 100 grams of dried shrimp, 2 eggs, 100 grams of dried shrimp, vinegar, coriander, salt and other seasonings.

Preparation: Wash the jellyfish head and cut it into thin skins, blanch it in boiling water and drain the water; crack the egg and stir it evenly, spread it into thin egg skins in a frying pan, and cut it into 5 cm long strips; take a plate and put the jellyfish head slices on the bottom of the plate, put the egg skins and coriander on top, and put the water-soaked dried shrimps on the top. Take an iron pan and pour in sesame oil. When it is 70% hot, add vinegar and soy sauce and cook it, pour it on the dish and mix well when eating.

Efficacy: Clears away heat and resolves phlegm, eliminates stagnation and relieves constipation. It can relieve symptoms such as phlegm-heat cough, food stagnation and distension, and dry stool in patients with intestinal cancer after surgery.
