Dietary remedies for qi and blood deficiency in patients with esophageal cancer after surgery

Some esophageal cancer patients will develop symptoms of both qi and blood deficiency after surgery, that is, the patients have symptoms of both qi deficiency and blood deficiency, such as sallow complexion, low voice, timid breath, pale tongue, and weak pulse.

Patients can improve the above symptoms by taking Chinese medicine and diet remedies, such as "ginseng and astragalus stewed raw fish", which can also improve the patient's general physical condition.

The ingredients are: one raw fish (about 250 grams), 10 grams of ginseng, 30 grams of astragalus, and 5 red dates.

The steps are as follows: 1. Wash the ginseng and slice it; remove the scales, gills and intestines of the raw fish and wash it; wash the astragalus and red dates; 2. Put all the ingredients into a stewing pot, add appropriate amount of boiling water, stew for 2 hours, remove the astragalus, take out the raw fish, and season.

Scope of application and efficacy: Patients with deficiency of Qi and blood after esophageal cancer and various cancer operations, and patients with difficult postoperative wound healing, with symptoms of sallow complexion, emaciation, fatigue, laziness, poor appetite, pale tongue, and thready and weak pulse. This therapy helps to replenish Qi and blood, and to tonify deficiency and promote tissue regeneration.

However, there are certain precautions when taking this recipe: 1. This recipe is suitable for those who have difficulty healing wounds after cancer surgery, have a sallow complexion, a low voice, a weak breath, a pale tongue, and a thready and weak pulse, which are caused by qi deficiency; 2. If the cancer is caused by damp heat, this soup should not be consumed; 3. When taking this recipe, avoid eating radish to prevent it from reducing the efficacy of ginseng.
