A dietary therapy that is effective for the recovery of patients with colorectal cancer

Bletilla striata porridge

Recipe: 10g Bletilla striata, 100g rice

Preparation: Wash the white hyacinth and cut it into 2 cm square pieces; wash the rice. Put the rice and white hyacinth into an aluminum pot, add appropriate amount of water, boil it on high heat, and then simmer for 30 minutes.

How to eat: once a day, 100 grams of porridge each time.

Efficacy: Nourishes the stomach, stops bleeding, reduces swelling, especially good for patients with intestinal cancer and bloody stools.

Quail stew with water chestnuts

Recipe: 60g water chestnut, 2 quails, 10g cooking wine, 6g ginger, 4g salt

Preparation: Peel and clean the water chestnuts, cut them in half; clean the quails, remove the hair, internal organs and claws; slice the ginger. Put the water chestnuts, quails and ginger into a stew cup, add appropriate amount of water, stew for 50 minutes, add salt and stir well.

How to eat: Take 1 quail and 50g water chestnuts once a day as a side dish for meals.

Efficacy: Clears away heat and detoxifies, dissipates stagnation and relieves pain. Effective for patients with intestinal cancer and blood in the stool.

Plum Juice

Recipe: 1000g black plum, 50g sugar

Preparation: Pick 1000g of unripe black plums, wash them, put them in a bottle, put sugar in the black plums and soak them for 10 days. Take out the black plum juice and put it in an empty bottle.

Efficacy: Stop bleeding and reduce swelling.
