5 to 10 days after surgery, the patient's gastrointestinal function gradually recovers, the appetite is strong, and flatulence occurs. At this time, the patient can be given an appropriate amount of boiled water. If there is no adverse reaction, the patient can drink some porridge, fish soup, etc., and pay attention to eating small meals frequently.

The semi-liquid diet phase starts from the second week after surgery. At this time, most patients have gotten out of bed and moved around, and their appetite will increase. However, they should still pay attention to eating small meals frequently, with mainly easily digestible dry foods without residue, such as noodles, egg custard, etc. Do not eat a lot to avoid digestive tract complications.

In the fourth week after surgery, you can enter the normal diet stage and expand your diet range, but be careful not to eat greasy or spicy food.

After hearing this, Aunt Wang and her family suddenly realized what was going on. From then on, they had to eat according to the doctor's requirements every day, do appropriate activities and cooperate with the doctor's treatment. Now Aunt Wang has almost recovered and will be discharged from the hospital in a few days.
