Self-diagnosis of lung cancer

Self-diagnosis of lung cancer

Lung cancer will have some typical symptoms, such as fever, coughing up blood, chest pain, etc. Many patients will miss the best time to treat the disease due to ignoring the early symptoms, which eventually leads to the spread of cancer cells. In order to treat the disease in time and minimize the harm of the disease, patients need to master some self-diagnosis methods for lung cancer.

1. Fever

If the patient's tumor blocks the trachea, distal secretions may be retained and cause inflammation, causing the patient to have fever symptoms. Anti-inflammatory treatment can improve the inflammation symptoms, but if pneumonia is not cured for a long time or the same part continues to be inflamed, it is likely a manifestation of cancer, and the patient needs to go to a regular hospital for a detailed diagnosis in time.

2. Bloody sputum

In the self-diagnosis of lung cancer, if the patient has symptoms of coughing up blood and sputum, he needs to undergo regular examination in time, because this is also a typical symptom of lung cancer. Its main feature is repeated and intermittent coughing up sputum, and the sputum will contain blood spots or blood streaks. Even if the chest X-ray is negative during the examination, further examination is required to rule out the possibility of cancer.

3. Chest pain

When lung cancer occurs, patients will also experience chest pain symptoms. The pain will be more obvious when the body position changes or when coughing hard, but it is not obvious under normal circumstances. In the early stages of lung cancer, chest pain and chest discomfort are mostly occasional, and in the later stages of lung cancer, they are continuous. If patients experience such symptoms, they need to be diagnosed and treated in a timely and detailed manner.
