World Health Organization classification of lymphoma

Lymphoma originates from lymph nodes and lymphatic tissues. The World Health Organization divides it into the following three types after comprehensively considering special clinical features, etiological features, morphological characteristics, immune phenotypes, monoclonal antibodies, cytogenetics and new molecular biology technologies: 1. Hodgkin's lymphoma Including nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin's lymphoma, typical Hodgkin's lymphoma, lymphocyte-rich typical Hodgkin's lymphoma, lymphocytopenic Hodgkin's lymphoma, mixed cell Hodgkin's lymphoma, etc. 2. B cells Including primitive B cell carcinoma, mature B cell carcinoma, hairy cell leukemia, lymph node marginal zone B cell lymphoma, plasmacytoid lymphoma, mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue extranodal marginal zone B cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, diffuse large B cell lymphoma, Burkitt lymphoma, etc. 3. T cells and NK cells Including primitive somatic cell tumors, mature T-cell tumors, aggressive NK-cell leukemia, extranodal NK-cell lymphoma, enteropathy-type somatic lymphoma, subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma, mycosis fungoides, anaplastic large cell lymphoma, peripheral T-cell lymphoma, angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, etc. |
