What are the early symptoms of cervical cancer

Cervical cancer is a common malignant tumor of the female reproductive system in my country. Its early diagnosis and early comprehensive treatment have a very large impact on the prognosis. 1. Most patients have cervical erosion

Generally, cervical cancer patients are often accompanied by cervical erosion, and severe cervical erosion is the main cause of cancer. Young women with long-term untreated cervical erosion, or those who still have cervical erosion after menopause, should be given enough attention.

2. Contact bleeding is the most prominent symptom of cervical cancer

About 70% to 80% of patients with cervical cancer experience vaginal bleeding. This is usually manifested as vaginal discharge mixed with blood after sexual intercourse, during gynecological examinations, or when straining to defecate. If elderly women experience bleeding after sexual intercourse, do not always assume that it is caused by improper force during sexual intercourse and ignore the possibility of cervical cancer. If bleeding occurs every time after sexual intercourse, it should be taken seriously and medical attention should be sought promptly.

3. Irregular vaginal bleeding after menopause

Postmenopausal women suddenly have their periods again for no apparent reason. The amount of bleeding is usually small and is not accompanied by abdominal pain, back pain, and other symptoms, which can be easily ignored. In fact, this irregular vaginal bleeding is often an early sign of cervical cancer. Many postmenopausal patients seek medical treatment for this symptom, and receive early diagnosis and timely treatment. Therefore, it should be given enough attention.

4. Pain in the lower abdomen or lumbar sacral region, even pain in the upper abdomen, thighs and hip joints

The pain gets worse during menstruation, bowel movements or sexual intercourse, especially when the inflammation spreads backward along the uterosacral ligament or along the bottom of the broad ligament, forming chronic parauterine connective tissue inflammation and thickening of the main ligament of the cervix. Whenever the cervix is ​​touched, it immediately causes pain in the iliac fossa and lumbosacral region. Some patients even experience nausea and other symptoms, which affect their sexual life.

5. Increased vaginal discharge, high viscosity, sometimes with blood

Clinically, about 75% to 85% of cervical cancer patients have varying degrees of increased vaginal discharge, mostly manifested as increased leucorrhea, which is often accompanied by changes in odor and color. Due to the stimulation of the cancerous focus, the secretion function of the cervical glands of cervical cancer patients is hyperactive, producing mucous leucorrhea, so patients of childbearing age no longer have cyclical changes in the characteristics and amount of leucorrhea: postmenopausal patients, on the contrary, have increased leucorrhea, which is sticky and sometimes bloody. This abnormal performance of leucorrhea, including the increase in quantity and change in its nature, is an early symptom of cervical cancer.
