With the progress of society, there are more and more treatments for cervical cancer, but surgical resection is still the preferred method for treating cervical cancer. There are many surgical methods at present. According to different stages, the resection method adopted is also different, which can be used as a basis for selection.

(1) Cervical carcinoma in situ: Young women who wish to have children can undergo Leep electroconvulsive conization or cold knife conization. Those who do not wish to have children can undergo extrafascial hysterectomy.

(2) Stage IA1: Subradical hysterectomy. Young patients can retain their ovaries. There is no need to remove pelvic lymph nodes. For young patients who strongly desire to retain their fertility, cervical cold knife cone biopsy can be performed.

(3) Stage IA2: Subradical hysterectomy + pelvic lymph node dissection. Young patients who strongly desire to preserve their fertility may choose radical hysterectomy + laparoscopic lymph node dissection.

(4) Stage IB-IIA: Radical hysterectomy plus pelvic lymph node dissection. Young patients can retain both or one ovary and move it to the side abdominal wall 2 fingers above the navel to avoid damage to ovarian function when pelvic radiotherapy is required after surgery. Patients with local cervical cancer lesions > 4 cm in diameter can undergo tumor removal before surgery; patients with complications or age factors who cannot tolerate surgery can choose a full course of radiotherapy.
